I just submitted a new version of iKeePass to the Apple iPhone store . Let´s hope this time we got approved. As many of you suggest in the comments, I added the test database directly into the login dialog, so now you just have to click the “open” button and enter the password “password” to get startet with the test account.
Update 10/16/2009 No response from Apple yet.
Update 10/22/2009

I hope to be approved it. We need them
Realy looking forward to install this application on my iphone. I hope MAC will aprove the apppl soon!
Normally it takes 2 weeks for the approval (or rejection) process, so any time now. Fingers crossed.
While we wait for iKeepass to be approved, we might as well bust a myth: “Come on!!!! It’s like doing backstroke in molasses!!”

The effort with this is appreciated greatly. Please keep it up as this is a must-have application for the iPhone which allows having a single password database between Windows, *NIX and iPhone.
Awesome, good luck to you!
Its been almost a year since the developer submitted the app. It’s not going to happen. Everyone keeps saying “i hope it gets approved good luck!” but it’s been ALMOST A YEAR. The likelihood of iKeepass being approved is similar to iControlPad’s release.
don’t give up. just don’t give up. it’s such an awesome application working on ALL major platforms.
if all else fails, do it the ole’ European way: write to whoever is in charge. bypass the regular submission process. find their manager, and the manager of the manager, write them. e-mail them. explain them. stupid reasons like “no functional demo” are obviously fabricated. get the a**hole fired.
just one thought: I know it’s the trademark of your work, but maybe they refuse you because it’s called keepASS and they find it offensive. I do believe there’s a single person there doing this to you, so if you get past that dumb gatekeeper you’re in.
best of luck. or as we say it in Canada, break a leg. (which, trust me, is a good wish say.) I said this to my friend two days ago – yesterday he got elected mayor. maybe it works.

When iKeePass does finally get approved I’ll kinda miss my daily visits to ikeepass.de!
Is the Apple tech really just eating donuts? I hope not.
Hab auch keine Lust mehr zu warten.
Ich kann nicht ohne PW-Safe und steige deshalb um.
Das geht nun schon so lange… da passiert eh nix mehr.
Schade, hatte keepass nun schon so viele Jahre im Einsatz…
congrats! one step closer!
how about we ALL write to apple instead of bugging the man here, and give them a piece of our mind? you know, just to make them understand that there IS a demand for this app.
or even better, Karsten – why don’t you e-mail them a copy of this comment list?
J’espère aussi que iKeepass sera approuvé par Apple. Comme tous ici, cette appli m’est vraiment utile.
Merci au développeur pour son travail.
Please Apple, accept it. I am using it on Windows, Linux (and BSD), on my MacBook Pro. I then bought an iPhone last week and I have been really upset not to see this application on the Store.
I think jailbreaking and cydia might be an option after all…
ikeepass is on the app store
If this is open source why is it being sold? 99 cents isn’t much I understand but does this not violate the open source agreement?
Woohoo! Just bought iKeePass for $0.99!!
Thanks!!
Noooooooo!!!!! After waiting so long, this is like torture… I can see iKeepass in the US AppStore, but I can’t get it from the Australian store! Is this just some sort of approval delay? Or am I doomed to never being able to use iKeepass?
Nice. Finally in the US store
LONG wait but thanks for the hard work.
congrats, you made it! yee-haw!
Awesome, thanks, thanks, thanks!
You saved my life
First up, great to see it finally made it!
Next, for those without a US iTunes Store account, it’s relatively easy to create one. Just do a bit of Googling for something along the lines of: itms account country create.
