I find the loading of the database slow.

    Could it be faster?

    Thanks

I’ve found an interesting bug in iKeepass v1.2. If you have a group that only has sub-groups and no entries, it does not allow you to open the group. Groups with entries and subgroups are fine.

    Hope that helps,

    Kev

Two bugs in v. 1.2, noted in another comment:

If there are folders with only subfolders and no root entries, they will not be displayed without a “dummy” entry in the root. Big problem!

The search function does not really work.

  6. Anthony says:

    mac keePassX 0.4.1
    ikeepass 1.2
All of my comment fields are truncated. Some by one line, others by 5 or 6. I can’t really find a pattern or determine if it’s a certain number of characters being truncated. I’m not using the comments field as a word processor or anything weird – just several lines here and there.

Ah yes, from other bugs, the search literally does not work.

    Love the app though!

  7. Anil says:

I can’t get the application to open my database (which is a little large at 250Kb). It does not produce any error messages, which is really annoying. I can open the demo database just fine.

How does one get a refund. This app really should be free until the bugs get worked out. Once it works, it would be work $5 for sure – but right now, it’s in need of a lot of alpha testers.

  8. William Forsythe says:

Is iKeepass (iPhone App) compatible with Keepass 2.o

  9. Mick says:

My primary folder which contains subgroups won’t open. Only a folder contining enties under it, not inside subfolders will display its contents. Big Problem.

  10. riccardo says:

I just installed application. it works with the test DB, but not with mine (279K exported from 2.x and properly open by KeepassX).
on the iKeepass I see that the db shoudl be large only 209 bytes (instead of 279K) and when try to open it the dialog after the password showing the status of the database open, just close without doing nothing. I’ve noticed that when I open the test db, the same progress dialog became from white to blue and show that it’s opening the db catalog. with my db, the progress remain simply white and then it closes without doing nothing.
    pls help me.
    thx.

@riccardo Please check your URL, username and password. Your file size of 209 bytes hints strongly in this direction. You send me a mail to kf@ikeepass.de to get more individual help.

    Hi Karsten,

hier wäre mein letzte Post besser aufgehoben gewesen.
Ist der Bugtracker bei SF noch aktuell – wird der noch genutzt? Sieht aktuell sehr veraltet aus.
Brauchst Du Hilfe den mal zu konsolidieren …und dann aktuell zuhalten?

  13. chrisO says:

It would be great if you could get the search function working. Thanks.

  14. Christian Tardif says:

Got iKeePass 1.2 installed. Very nice to have all my passwords available on my iPhone. Got to see the same problem as mentionned above, aka only groups with a key in it will be “openable”. But there’s more. All the entries are fucked up. In a specific group, I will see entries from other groups. Anyone saw this before?

    I’m on iOS 4.0

  15. Karl says:

    ikeepass 1.2
    keepass 1.1 & 1.17

my kdb file was created with keepass 1.1. keepass 1.17 can read the 1.1 file with no problem.

Ikeepass 1.2 has trouble reading all fields created in keepass. Cannot open folders with subfolders created with keepass.
Backup folder entries; missing user names. Passwords are long and encrypted?
