I really, really like this software and have purchased it for my iPad.

I like this app a lot. Any chance a future release will support IOS 4 new file sharing feature, so you don’t have to upload your keepass file to a website to get it on to the device?

I will definately buy this app the minute dropbox support gets in.. keep up the good work!

Hmml, I see what you mean about startup problems on ipod touch. It doesn’t! Looking forward to 2.1 — and thanks for continuing to work on this.

Thanks so much for releasing another version. I doubted there would ever be another version. Discovering it made my day.

How about setting this up so it works if you don’t have access to a server? Dropbox support (with instructions how to do it) would be great!

Great man! Finally I got it. I don’t need this dopbox service. It works with my webspace.

      Feature requests:
      1) Upload status from webspace
      2) Password should be not permanently saved
      3) kdbx-Support
      4) Advanced attachment support

Indeed, version 2.0 does not start on my iPod Touch: all I get is a blank screen (with the operating system header at the top). Please fix this urgently!

Thanks a lot, but kdbx support would be more than welcomed!!

As soon as dropbox suppor tis in, I’ll buy it too

Sonething important: register the file type so you can open the keepass files from other apps (for example dropbox app).
Also, how about updating the source?

    12. MZ May 20, 2011 at 16:06 # Reply

Definitely need dropbox, i bought it thinking it was already there …. hope you’ll post it soon !

Whenever I try and use it on ipad v2 either starting a local http server or downloading from my own server it crashes. Known issue?

    14. Chris May 21, 2011 at 16:36 # Reply

      Really need kdbx support.

      Nice to see this update!

Feature and bugs should be reported on sourceforge. It is easier for the dev team to see them reported on one location.

Just bought the app (as an encouragement), good start but really need .kdbx support and key files, so I can use Keepass on multiple platforms. Not very useful until then.

    17. Joe May 23, 2011 at 18:59 # Reply

      Will key files be supported?

On the iPhone the iKeePass application has to critical problems.

      1) Can’t enter the database info in the Add New Database dialog. The Keyboard pops up and covers the input fields. Can’t see what you’re typing. Also can’t Paste into the fields.

      2) When you leave the app, it should close the database. You shouldn’t have to kill the app to have it forget your DB password. Any departure from the iPhone app should lock the database

      you made a big step… congratulations…

definitely the dropbox support is the missing key feature. i’m realley looking forward to get it.

Will iKeepass remain a read-only system or will it be able to create new entry in the kdb-database from the iphone? that would be really great…

    21. HarryS May 24, 2011 at 15:31 # Reply

Note that the ikeepass app DOESNOT show the full “notes”field as in the database!!! I missed some important data when I needed it, due to this. Hope it will be corrected. But thnx for the app…

Dropbox app and ikeepass app work fine together on Ipad2.

Love this software … Thanks sooooo very much for all the hard work!! I am greatly looking forward to version 2 (kdbx) and WOULD ABSOLUTELY LOVE TO HAVE A KEY FILE SUPPORT AS WELL AS A PASSWORD.

I just feel safer with my database of passwords stored online separate from a needed key file as well as a master password.

      Thanks again,

I bought 2.0 yesterday. And im happy to see that my only concerns are adressed in 2.1. Logout, case-insensitive search. Yay!

    25. HJensen May 25, 2011 at 13:40 # Reply

-oh, it would be nice if I could copy any field (not only password) to the clipboard. Keep up the good work!

    26. Ryan May 26, 2011 at 18:03 # Reply

I’ll buy it when it supports kdbx. Until then, I’m stuck with MyKeePass, which is buggy. If you can perfect kdbx and dropbox support… I’d pay double.

    27. secureIT May 26, 2011 at 20:43 # Reply

I bought this since you promised dropbox sync in the near future, and it turns out it’s really not that big a deal to use dropbox public folder to transfer for now. Thanks for a great product! I am also looking forward to kdbx support someday.

I hope the next release with DropBox support comes out soon. I’m pulling for you! Keep up the good work!

Hi, I just bought iKeepass for my new iPad… after launching ikeepass, it is asking me for a password.

What is the password? How do I set it up.

I’ve been using keepass for windows, How do I transfer my stored passwords to ipad?
