🔐 Password Management

Your Passwords Always With You

  • Folder Structure - Organize your passwords in folders and subfolders
  • Quick Search - Find any entry in seconds
  • Sorting - By title, username, modification date, or creation date
  • Favorites - Quick access to frequently used entries

Create and Edit Entries

Create new passwords with all important information:

Field Description
Title Entry name (e.g., “Amazon”)
Username Your login name or email
Password Securely stored with show/hide toggle
URL Link to the website
Notes Additional information
Icon Choose from 70+ icons
Expiration Optional for regular password changes

Quick Actions

  • Swipe left → Edit
  • Swipe right → Delete
  • Long press → Context menu with all options

Tap on an entry to see all details. The view is organized in 6 tabs:

📊 Security Dashboard

The dashboard analyzes all your passwords and gives you a quick overview:

Security Score

A value from 0-100% shows you how secure your passwords are overall:

0-20% Critical 🔴 Red
21-40% Poor 🟠 Orange
41-60% Medium 🟡 Yellow
61-80% Good 🟢 Green
81-100% Excellent 🔵 Blue

Statistics

  • Total Count - How many passwords do you have?
  • Folders - Number of your folders
  • OTP Entries - Entries with two-factor authentication
  • Compromised - Passwords found in data breaches
  • Weak Passwords - Too short or simple passwords
  • Duplicates - Reused passwords

Have I Been Pwned Check

Check all your passwords with one click against the largest database of known data breaches. Your password is never transmitted - only the first 5 characters of a hash are used.

⏱️ One-Time Passwords (OTP)

iKeePass supports time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) for two-factor authentication:

  • Real-time Codes - 6-digit codes that change every 30 seconds
  • Countdown Display - See exactly how long the current code is valid
  • One-Click Copy - Tap the code to copy it
  • Auto-Refresh - Codes update in real-time

🛡️ Security Features

Face ID / Touch ID

Unlock your database conveniently with Face ID or Touch ID:

  • Quick access without password entry
  • Securely stored in iOS Keychain
  • Can be disabled at any time

Auto-Lock

Your database is automatically locked:

  • Immediately - On every app switch
  • After 1/3/5/15 minutes - Configurable timeout
  • Never - For maximum convenience (not recommended)

Privacy Shield

When you switch apps, your passwords are automatically hidden:

  • Blur effect over the entire app
  • Protects from prying eyes in the app switcher
  • App logo displayed instead of sensitive data

Clipboard Protection

Copied passwords are automatically cleared from the clipboard:

  • Choose: 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 or 2 minutes
  • Prevents accidental pasting elsewhere

🔑 AutoFill

Automatically fill passwords in apps and Safari:

  1. Enable in iOS Settings → Passwords → AutoFill
  2. Select iKeePass as AutoFill provider
  3. Done! - Login fields will automatically show suggestions

📦 Archive Feature

Clean up your passwords without deleting them:

  • Archive instead of Delete - Hide old entries
  • Custom Archive Folder - Name freely configurable (default: “Backup”)
  • Search Exclusion - Optionally exclude archived entries from search
  • Dashboard Exclusion - Archived entries don’t affect the Security Score
